Mommy was pretty sick on the day after I was born, so I wasn't allowed to come visit her. I missed her very much! But the next day, Mommy was feeling much better, so we had a nice long visit together! This was the first time that we really saw what each other looked like.
Dr. Downing was
the one who delivered me the other day, and here he is, holding me. He told me
I was very pretty. (I bet he says that to all the girls!) Mommy says she's a
bit jealous of Dr. Downing because he was the first person to touch me.
Mommy has a
special friend named Nancy. Nancy is in a wheelchair just like my Mommy, and
has three big kids. Nancy gives Mommy lots of advice on how to take care of her
self, and more important, how to take care of me! We all love Nancy very
much and don't know how we would have made it without her friendship and
support.
