  • The Thalers are Coming! The Thalers are Coming!

April 7, 2002 was an historic day for the Parent Empowerment Gang. On the occasion of Steven James' baptism, several of our families celebrated together, including the Thalers from Israel. Everyone had a grand time! Here are a few photos from this unforgettable event!

The group shot--First Row: Lieba Perel (red shoes), Menachem Baruch (on Bob's footrests.) Second Row (seated): Michele, Bob, Nancy, Trish. Third Row: Sara Leah (lavender jacket), Chana Rochel, Yitzchak Isaac, Sabra (behind Bob), Susie and Robert (flanking Nancy), John and Diana (next to Trish). Back: Manny, holding Eliezer Yehuda, Rosalie (between Yitzchak Isaac and Sabra), and Hugo. The two missing from the group shot were Steven (it was too cold outside), and "Ga-bi! Ga-bi! Ga-bi!" (Gavriel Moshe), who was much happier hiding behind the bushes.

    kids
It always amazes us when our kids meet each other for the first time that it seems as if they've known each other all their lives. This is Lieba Perel, Menachem Baruch, Diana, and guess who? Gabi!!!

This is the List Grandad, Grand Pooh-bah and professional iconoclast, Bob!

Everyone was fascinated with Bob's 1970s vintage VW van, complete with monoski stored in back, and yes, a canoe on the roof.
