  • Family Day Picnic, June 1997

In 1997, many of our members gathered at Trish and John's house for a picnic with our families.

    picnic group photo
We had a great day, and just about everybody posed for a photo before the end of the event. Standing: John (Trish's CRABby Hubby), Hugo (Nancy B.'s spouse), Marc (Syd's husband), Lynne (Bob H.'s wife). Seated: Trish, Nancy B., Syd, Pamela, Julie, Bob H. Kids: Diana, Susie, Kory, Quilla, Robert, Tom, Fred, Sonja (behind Fred).

two more picnic'ersAccess Bob and Chase (Julie's stepson) posed with us as well, but these two characters needed a space of their own!!

    Syd on the bike
Syd almost had the bike up on two wheels. Way to go!

Bob shows Nancy the hand bike
Access Bob brought his two-wheeled handbike for everyone to try. It was a highlight of the event. Here, he shows Nancy B. the finer points of pedaling.

    Julie on the bike
Then it was Julie's turn... (Trish was too chicken that day, according to Access Bob.)

    Julie and Diana
When the bike-riding was done and the food was eaten, everybody came inside and laughed and talked for a while. Here's a photo of Julie with Diana Michelle.
