In 1997, our listserver went automated, with the help of Eric and Diane Voigt. Soon thereafter, circumstances allowed us to meet each other.We've been friends ever since! Here are some photos from that first meeting, in February, 1997.

The Days and the Voigts gathered for dinner at the Holiday Inn, in Holidaysburg, PA. Left to Right are: John, Diana (seated), Trish, Eric (the dad), Diane, and Eric (the son).

Eric and Diana hit it off rather well by the end of the night. In fact, they seem to be quite enamoured of each other, don't they? It must be love...

"You must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss..." Eric and Eric serenaded restaurant patrons during dinner. Perhaps Eric is a budding prodigy? (And for SURE the restaurant management was INCREDIBLY tolerant!)
